Stan Janko - local artist - long time Osoyoos resident. # 57 - 5901 Main Street,
Osoyoos Now well into his mid-70’s, Stan Janko, the artist, continues to paint. His memories of the prairies still provide the major influence in his portfolio, but recently he has turned his talents toward the orchards and vineyards of the Okanagan. And, he has begun to experiment with a black and white technique, reminiscent of the old snap-shots in family photo albums. |

All of Stan’s paintings are Originals. There have been no
prints produced of any of his work. He maintains this ‘No Print” Policy,
assuring every buyer of his work, the prestige and pride in owing an

The” Okanagan Harvest” Trilogy is an example of the Okanagan series of
paintings. This picture is 41”x15”. The medium is acrylic on canvas board. The painting “Cattle Train” still embraces Stan’s
prairie heritage, but is depicted in a black-and-white palette, giving the
scene a clean, classic look. The picture is 18”x24”. The medium is acrylic
