More than 40 years ago, the Fernandes Family came to Osoyoos from Portugal to raise their family and become successful orchardists. Today, the Fernandes Children continue the tradition in the town where they grew up. Tom Fernandes, with his roots still firmly planted in the orchards, operates a growing wholesale fruit packing and sales business. His season begins with cherries and apricots and continues throughout the summer and fall with peaches, nectarines, plums, prunes and of course the many different varieties of apples.
