Paul Balogh began the business in 1955, when there were only 1200 or 1500
people in Osoyoos. His son Greg Balogh took over the business in 1998, and
has kept pace with the community, as Osoyoos has enjoyed steady growth.
Balogh Electric provides electrical service for residential, commercial
and industrial sectors in the South Okanagan. Their service and
maintenance work is second to none, and estimates are provided for all
electrical contracting.
With a third generation of Balogh's growing up in Osoyoos, the Balogh
Family continues their community involvement that began when Paul served
as Fire Chief on the Osoyoos Volunteer Fire Department for 30 years.
Today, Greg Balogh continues the tradition as a member of the Fire
Department, and a third generation of Balogh's is growing up in Osoyoos.
